Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que is a restaurant that offers fast, tasty (if you like vinegar-based BBQ sauce), and inexpensive food near Williamsburg, only a 15 minute drive from the Historic Area. It's fast food, but definitely a step above McDonald's, but like Mickey D's, they don't serve alcohol. Located just off I-64 on East Rochambeau Drive, Pierce's offers a variety of BBQ - chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and more. The barbecue style is carolina - vinegar based sauce. They also offer good kids' meals. For something different, try their sweet potato fries. They're not like french fries; more like sweet potato souffle that's been breaded and fried, leaving them a little soft and almost gooey inside.
