Dallas visitors!  Shared sample list of things to do in Dallas. List can be helpful when you have a plan laid out and can follow easily and share with friends and family. Listed favorites and Most of them are free (many people can appreciate that).     The Old Red Courthouse will get your morning off right as you stroll through the new Dallas Museum and learn how the Bid D came to be one of the biggest cities in Texas.   As you finish your tour you can visit the downstairs Visitor Center , friendly staff will welcome you to the city and answer any question you have about where to go and what to see.  Next, walk out the door of the Old Red and stroll down  Dealey Plaza and relive the historic assassination of President John F. Kennedy.   Although the Six Floor Museum does have a fee to enter, you can stroll the plaza for free and take photos there. This area is popular because you can see the "X" painted on the street to show you the direct place President Kennedy was shot.   For lunch you can walk down the road to the historic West End District in downtown Dallas to have a tasty and fun meal with the family!   With an abundance of restaurants to choose from that are family friendly, you will be satisfied with any one around!   After dinner drop over at the Shops at West End Marketplace wear you can pick up some souvenirs, gifts, and fudge!

Right around the corner from the West End is the Dallas Arts District. A quick Art Stroll is nice and make for great pictures of the buildings designed by the best architects in the business. AT& T performing Arts center offers free patio sessions on Thursday's that bring an "unplug" musician vibe to the area. The Arts District does have an Art Car that can take around the area for free as well. The Asian Art Museum is the only free museum in the district and is well worth the visit.   The McKinney Free Trolley is available to ride from the Arts District to the Uptown District and West Village.   Uptown District where you will have your choice of delicious restaurants! There are several Art Galleries and pubs on McKinney that are quite fun too. Great people watching.   Deep Ellum is an old District that has come back in a BIG way, So much ART to see and sculptures to take photos. The Latino Cultural Center is located near the area and is free to stop in and tour. The center offers local Texas Hispanic Art and a cool meditation room to enjoy. ALL FOR FREE.
