Chattanooga offers a variety of events for the whole family:

Rock City

Ruby Falls

the Tennessee Aquarium

IMAX 3D Theater

The Hunter Museum - the grounds are beautiful! It is a trek to get there but it has free parking for its visitors if you drive. It is near the Pine Bluff Art District

Art District - Beautiful shops with Beautiful art in an amazingly beautiful historic area.

Frazier Avenue shops are eclectic and fascinating. The art here is some of the most unique of the area.

The Chattanooga Market is another treasure not heavily advertised, but is worth the visit. Pedicabs are available for travel and you should take one if possible. The drivers are very knowledgeable and friendly and they only work for tips. Shuttle buses are free but the stops are unpredictable and sometimes overly full.

There is also a play zone (not the real title), and nice mall and park areas (if you have more than 2 days then add on these lesser attractions, otherwise stick to the best of the best).

Chattanooga is a very easy town to drive in so if you can afford the parking meters (very reasonable) you might want to drive instead.
