Took a bus tour to Charlotte for last fall's (2010) Nascar race. and were taken to several of the race shops to see where things are done. It is great to see the cars being built and then the next week, seeing that car out on the track. Even got to go to the park that they have the statute of Dale Sr. as well as visit Curb Records.
It was a fabulous trip and would recommend that everyone that loves Nascar get a chance to do it! Even if you don't take a bus tour to the city, and choose to drive, you can still visit these places on your own, it just won't be a much fun, because sometimes the tours have the ability to take you places you can't go on your own.
Visited the Nascar Hall of Fame. It is a great experience. Saw cars that were in races many years ago. It brings back alot of memories and it is a great place to have younger ones catch up on the history of the sport.
Will go again---a great time was had by all!!
