Alfie's Restaurant is located on New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood.  It's next to a bowling alley and from the outside you might think to pass it by.  Don't!  Once you go inside, you might change your mind about this restaurant.  There is a bar when you first walk in and the hostess is ready to seat you in one of the dining rooms.  The specialty is Italian food and the menu has fish, veal, chicken, beef and pasta dishes.  There is also an extensive wine list.  You are served a large salad, family style, along with bread and and an olive oil, olive and herb dipping plate.  The appetizers selected were calamari and mozzarella sticks; both were delicious.  The entrees that were chosen included stuffed shells, shrimp fra diavlo, seafood marinara, chicken francaise and chicken parm and one of the specials of the evening, mahi mahi.   The food was absolutely delightful and doggie bags were called for.  The prices were comparable to other restaurants in the area, but the food was definitely a cut above the rest.
