Steamboat Arabia - One of the best kept secrets of Kansas City. An event for those intersted in real life treasure hunters and others in history of the United States. See wonderfully preserved artifacts recovered from the Steaboat Arabia - a ship that sank in what is now a Kansas corn field (but was then part of the Missouri River) for 132 years. The trade ship is a bountiful supply of mid-1800s tools, treasures, and many day-to-day necessities and indulgences of the 1850-60s frontiersmen.
