    A piece of green within the city, Lake Park offers 1,500 acres of wooded area and a 400-acre lake. Boat rentals are offered and boating and fishing is is offered from the last Saturday in February until November 30, although permits are required. It features a large children's playground, horse trail and a model railroad with free rides the second Saturday of every month from April to November.
