Now, in addition to theme parks and roller coasters, Orlando, Florida can add ziplining to its list of thrills.
Florida EcoSafaris (www.FloridaEcoSafaris.com) opened the all new Zipline Safari in August 2011. It's a two and a half hour zipline experience that takes you through the treetop canopy of a 4700 acre wildlife conservation area called Forever Florida. The area is just beautiful showing completely unspoiled natural Florida. The attraction upped the thrills again in 2012 by adding the Rattlesnake, the first zipline roller coaster in the USA and Peregrin Plunge, the longest single zipline run in the state of Florida at a whopping 1300 feet. They also offer the guided Horseback Safari and Coach Safari. The Zipline Safari goes through 7 different ziplines as fast as 30 miles per hour and as high as 68'. This is the biggest zipline adventure in Central Florida taking guests up high above the treetops for a view reaching 10 miles into the distance. It's a great day away for the family to relax, recharge and get ready for more fun at Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld. The attraction donates a significant portion of ticket proceeds to the conservation of Florida's wilderness.
