RUN... don't walk... AWAY from this monster scam. They are all smiles and chuckles until they get your money, then good luck even getting a civil response to your questions. And you SHOULD ask questions...lots of them, since they don't tell you about the extra fees ($40-$80 for BAIT) and the fact that the crew EXPECTS a 25% gratuity over and above all other costs. I was charged $150+tax as a single participant while the other couple with my party only had to pay $100 each??!! The boat looked like it needs some major repairs and there weren't ANY sort of safety precautions ie: lifejackets, safety lines. The crewman (I'll call him Gilligan) even told me it was impossible to fall off a boat??!!!!
Anyway, after I told 'Gilligan' I wasn't going to pay any more money (holy sh@t did he whine!) , well we didn't catch ANY fish after 4 stomach churning hours, and to top it off, we had to help the crew throw a still-bleeding 10 foot hammerhead shark overboard, which was left over from the PREVIOUS party. You ever try disposing of a 600 lb. shark? Its DANGEROUS, and not part of the contract as far as I'm concerned. Long story short, there MUST be plenty of other reputable fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale. Sadly it isn't Monster Fishing. Learn from my mi$take.
