Destin, a young city with a full-time population of approximately 11,000, is full of commercial and tourist development. It is constantly growing as a tourist population as more and more people discover all that it has to offer. Nevertheless, Destin is mostly defined by its natural beauty.

While in Destin you will fall in synch with its past as a fishing town and with the rythm of the spectacular white sand beaches. These beaches are some of the most beautiful in the Emerald Coast. The affluent crowds that frequent Destin go there not only for the 24 miles of beaches but also for the upscale condos and resorts, the fine dining and the burgeoning shopping venues. Although Destin is not as laid back as its neighbor, Fort Walton Beach, it is not stuffy or snobby either.
