Being only 9 degrees above the equator and sea-level, Tamarindo has a warm climate and has the driest in Costa Rica. It does also have a wet season that lasts approximately from May through October. However, it is an active place for tourism all-year with the action slowing down considerably during September and October.Coming into high-season, November is a beautiful time to visit, however its a transitional month and you never know what to expect.
