The Staff  Of Costa Rica Descents will pick you up at your hotel in the morning; the time depends on the river, the tour, and other tourists. Once you arrive to the riverbed, you will walk the equipment towards the appropriate location, where you will help set it up .One guide informs you on the safety standards and rafting procedures. All the while you have the photographer, on a kayak taking pictures for you which you can later purchase on a CD for $30. You have a choice between class II, III (both $65), IV ($85), Over Nigh rafting with rapeling ($230) or V ($115). The most popular is class V since this is the only company in the area who offers this. You will always be guided by 2 safety kayaks, which check out the next rapids before they send you down the river. You are on a river for approximately 3 hours, with a break in the middle for a snack of fresh fruits near a waterfall. After the rapids you have a chance to jump out of the raft and swim a little. When your excursion is done the guides take you out to lunch at Don Juan Organic Farm, at the Finca, we have preserved the original wood stove. We offer lunch and dinner prepared the traditional way on this same wood stove with all the flavors and fresh ingredients of rural Costa Rica. Enjoy this Costa Rican cultural experience and the rural way of life which creates an all-natural environment with warm country hospitality(www.casonariofortuna.com), you have a chance to view your pictures, buy a T-shirt, and/or chill out with a cold beer at their office. They then drive you back to your hotel, give you dinner recommendations and where to go to out.
