Ankara is a good place to shop for copper items. There is a small street/alley near the Citadel that has shops for this purpose. One shop recommended with good english speaking owner is KERVAN BAKIK, Salman Sokak 35/B, Ulus, Ankara. I purchased a very good quality double tin lined copper casserole for one fourth of what it would have cost in the USA.
