I recently spent two weeks in Chile with my husband and four friends.  For the last 4 days of our trip, we were based in Vina del Mar.  We had arranged for two days of wine tasting with Al Ramirez.  From the start, Al was excellent to work with.  We communicated by e-mail prior to our arrival.  He was always prompt in responding and creative in putting together an intineary that met our needs.  We spent one day touring Casablanca and San Antonio valleys and another day in Aconcagua Valley.  We visited a total of 6 wineries and each was more terrific than the nezt.  Al took much care in selecting the spots to ensure that each experience was unqiue.  He also made sure that we had an opportunity to try some of the best wines in the regions.  Al is extremely knowledgable about the region- wine, food, history, etc.  He is very professional and easy to work with  I would highly recommend his services.
