Summer is generally the time when most travelers head to Tirana.  The average summer temperature in the area is approximately seventy five degrees, and the summer time is the time when it is least likely to rain in the area.  July and August are the driest months of the year, although May and June as well as September and October are also low rain months.

The rainy season begins in November, when Tirana sees approximately four inches of rain.  The amount of rains drops off slightly in the following months, although the rainy season generally continues through May.

Although summer is the popular time to visit the area, there is never a particularly bad time to head to Tirana in terms of the weather there.  The average winter temperature is approximately forty five degrees, making it much warmer than many other parts of the world at that time of year.  It never snows in Tirana, so even during the cold days of the year visitors will find that it is basically comfortable.
