Tim's Kitchen is one of two unrelated restaurants in Hong Kong that share the same name. The other being a coffeeshop type place in Wanchai.

This One star Michelin restaurant was started by Chef Lai Yau Tim who used to be the Head Chef for the executive kitchen of the Hang Seng Bank. Catering to admirers of classical Cantonese cooking, this tiny establishment attracts a steady stream of Hong Kong's rich and famous and has developed a reputation of being among the best restaurants in this great city. Popular dishes include Salt & pepper Crab claw, Crystal prawn, Deep fried crispy chicken, Fried Birds' Nests, Snake soup(in the colder months especially),Stir fried Pork tripe,and Pomelo peel with Shrimp Roe.

Reservations are essential as are advanced orders for many of the specialities. Bring your own wine. Open daily for lunch and dinner(two seatings-6:30pm and 8:30pm) except Sundays and Public holidays.
