Gerda's Place is a restaurant, located in Karnak, opposite. Hilton. And is a German-style restaurant.

They opened this restaurant about 5yrs ago, and is a nice place to have a lunch or diner, ood Quality food for good prices. Only disadvantage is that it is quite far from the hotel area in Luxor, bout 3km.   If you would take a taxi in evening, this will cost 15LE, approx. E 1,80.

 Next to the food and the prices, the staff is more then friendly, and genuine interested.
