The weather in Uzbekistan.  A dry climate with precipitation limited mostly to winter/early spring.  Winter temperatures are as low as -20 Celsius and summer temperatures reach the mid to upper 40's.  Not all tourist accomodation has heat and/or A/C so if you don't want to freeze or cook while there limit your travel to from late Februari to late May, and September to mid November, OR be very careful when selecting your accommodations.

During April 2009 the spring has set in late. There are unusal rains and low temperatures. Though April is advised to be a good time to visit be preared for unseasonal rains and low temperatures.
