Reunification Palace

Formerly the Presidential Palace of the Republic of South Vietnam, it underwent extensive renovations and only re-opened recently. Visitors can tour the President's office, cabinet room, bomb shelters, war rooms, secret tunnels and see what it looked like in 1975.

 

Ho Chi Minh City Museum

War Remnants Museum

Hours: 7:30-11:45am, 1:30-4:45pm

Admission: 15,000 dong (≈$.72)

Formerly known as the "Exhibition House of American War Crimes,"  The museum features American tanks, aircraft and weaponry, as well as very graphic images of war atrocities. Do not go if you are easily disturbed.  

 

Saigon Skydeck - Bitexco Financial Tower

Hours: 9:00-9:30 pm

Admission: 200,000 dong (≈$9.5)

Soaring 68 stories tall, Ho Chi Minh City's Bitexco Financial Tower officially opened its Saigon Skydeck, the observatory in July 2011. Located on the 49th floor, the Saigon Skydeck is the highest observatory platform in Vietnam, giving visitors a panoramic 360 degree view of the enthralling cityscape below.
