I would have called this the "A-Z" of Albion, but it really doesn't go that far! The "centre" of Albion consists of a grocery store (known to the locals as "the Gro"), a post office and a hardware store. The Gro has a gas pump if you are in desperate need, although the prices are high. You can also get propane refills here. There is a campsite on the Albion River, under the bridge on which Highway 1 crosses it. Other than that, the area is replete with quaint inns and B&Bs, some quite pricey, others quite reasonable. And that, in a nutshell, is Albion. The nearest town of any size is Mendocino. Your best bet for cheaper accommodation in the area is Fort Bragg, about 20 minutes north. There is a good selection of motels there.
