DRUSKININKAI city, prime Lithuanian health resort, has opened the doors of one of the finest Waterparks in the Eastern Europe. The Aquapark includes Bath and Water Amusement complex of buildings.

Bath Complex consists of 18 baths of various design and traditions. If you are less than 18 years old, you won't enter... You may take the pleasure of bath in swimming suit or nude if you feel comfortable with that. Have your own flip-flops. You may rent a bathtowel and a bathrobe.

SAUNAS

5 original Finnish saunas are built to flatter your soul and body. The biggest of them (~105 sq.m) is suited for lessons about bath traditions, culture and impact on your health. The second sauna is built in Japanese style. The third has Spanish roots: the temperature reaches 75 Celsius degrees/167 Fahrenheit degrees here and the air is rich of citrus and egzotic fruit odour. The fourth bath is built under the influence of village atmosphere, where three powerful furnaces heats up the air until 100C/212F! In the last, modern bath, you'll appreciate the sun-like light and nice art piece "Heating Cat".

ROMAN BATHS

You may revive the ritual of a traditional Roman bath by gradually entering 6 baths varying in the inside air temperature. You start with warm and end with the hottest one. After that, it is recommended to return to the coldest bath. The art lovers will notice the motifs of Egypt and Roma in the interior of Roman baths. In front of you - "Musical" pool - you can listen relaxing melodies while swimming around.

"HAMAM" BATH

Marble mosaic, deluxe gold-like shower-bath and endearing belly dancers nearby. Spa "East Island" offers you a relaxing massage.

VIP BATHS

Choose the dry bath made of light and young wood or made of dark and old wood. Personalities, who want some special sensations, may plunge in the real snow that is gathered in the ICE room.

BACKYARD BATHHOUSE

There's a real Russian bathhouse standing in the yard and decorated with wooden birds. In the other corner of the yeard pool - separate steam bathhouse offering a salt rub into the skin procedures.  

 "WET" BAR

A Bar with underwater seats, where one can order an exotic cocktail drink. There's a scene near the bar, where many musical and dance shows are being organized. When it comes to the dark- enjoy the unforgetable show with laser effects.

 COMPLEX OF ADVENTURES

One of the biggest attractions - 6 different water coasters. The longest of them is 212 meters/232 yards!!! Many enjoy the "River flow" attraction, when warm water embraces you and allows to swim lightly adrift. The pool of Artificial Waves generates breathtaking 1.5 meter/1.64 yard sea waves! After such an adventure,  you may take a rest in the UV light-illuminated beach, full of plants and palms that were brought here straight from the Florida state :) No one has forgotten about your children - they'll enjoy the colorful planet Mars with warm little fountains, amusement and self-controlable water streams. In the Major basin stands an artificial mount with turbulent flow (whirlpool) and water cascades. The special exercises here also take place observed by proffesional medical instructors. If you follow the program "The Winner takes it all", don't forget to try "jaccuzi" - 10-15 minutes of swirling air bubbles in the water is enough to gently massage your entire body, relaxing the muscles and waking up your blood from the stagnation.

LAST ADVICE: take a herbal tea made of linden blossoms and mixed with honey when you come home from Aquapark. Then you'll know you're in LITHUANIA. Try Zeppelins made from potatoes stuffed with meat. And don't look for an etiquette "Organic" - 95% of lithuanian food enters this category. Yes, maybe such food contains more fat than you wanted, but look at lithuanian people - they're slim!  

PRICES:

Let's assume that if you visit it, you'll spend the time in both the Baths and Water Amusement complexes. If you're an adult - the full day from 10:00 to 3.00 will cost you 92 Lt (Mon-Thur) or 99 Lt (Fri-Sun) that is roughly 36$-38$. In Water Amusement complex only the all day for an adult from 18 yo will cost you 69 Lt (Mon-Thur) or 77 Lt (Fri-Sun) ~ 27-30$. If you're from 7 to 18 yo - 51 Lt or 57 Lt respectively ~20-22$. If you're from 3 to 7 yo - 31 Lt - 35 Lt ~ 12-14$. If you're a family of 2 adults with children until 18yo all day will cost you just 135 Lt or 196 Lt ~ 52$ - 75$. The optional stay in times are: 2, 3, 4 hours or full-day including 30 min for extension time.

AQUAPARK HOTEL

92 comfortable rooms, including 2 apartments, 5 luxury rooms, 7 single rooms and 78 double rooms are offered in the hotel, which has established itself under the roof of the Druskininkai aqua park.
