It could be argued that Donnelly's is one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Warrnambool.

The restaurant is in a building in Leibig street at the "entertainment" end of the street near a number of other bars and restaurants.  It is quiet and relaxed with low key decor and white table cloths.

The quality and the presenation of the food is excellent - equivalent to something you would find in a restaurant in one of the big Australian cities.

The food style is "modern" - simple, quality cooking with fresh ingredients and a couple of additional interesting menu choices for those willing to experiment.

If you are someone who dines out a lot then Donnelly's will meet your expectations.  If you're someone who doesn't dine out a lot but is looking for a special occasion restaurant then Donnelly's would be a great choice.

 It's not cheap, for a country resaurant, but it is quality and worth every cent - e.g. $130 plus wine for a filling three course meal for two people.
