New Farm Park is a large riverside park located, unsurprisingly, in New Farm. It contains amongst other things: tennis courts, a fantastic playground complete with coffee van, and large beautiful rose gardens.  The Powerhouse Arts Centre is also located here.

The playground is a gem and if you are travelling with children, a must-do. There is a giant fort built around the base of a massive fig tree, two conjoined climbing webs, swings, things to spin around on, separate area with play equipment for the smaller children and - there be dragons! Gorgeous sculptures to climb on and eggs to 'hatch' out of.
