Although the Sydney Visitors Centre is the most popular of the tourist information offices, there are actually more than one hundred and fifty officially approved tourist information centers located throughout New South Wales . Some of these are the official type of visitor’s center which comes to mind when thinking about places to obtain travel information, complete with customer service representatives and informative plaques about the history of the area. Others are small counters located within restaurants and stores in little towns throughout South New Wales. What they all have in common is that they are approved to provide brochures and other information to travelers to facilitate learning about the area.
