Take to the skies with The Ulster Gliding Club, Northern Ireland's only gliding centre.
Based at Bellarena, approximately 7 miles from Limavady, the Ulster Gliding Centre offers training at one of the finest soaring sites in the British Isles , located in a beautiful setting beneath the cliffs of Binevenagh on the shores of Lough Foyle. No previous experience is necessary to begin learning to fly in gliders. Training is carried out in a two-seat dual-control glider flying over the scenic north coast. The centre now has an accessible glider, which allows those with disabilities the chance to experience gliding. The centre operates throughout the year at weekends, some public holidays and selected weeks at Easter and July.
