Greenhead Park is less than 1km from the centre of Huddersfield. To walk around the outside of the park you would cover 1.7km. The local council have just completed a massive refurbishment and restoration costing almost £5 million. it is an ideal place to visit when the weather is good and has tennis courts, bowling green, an ornamental lake and a giant Victorian conservatory. The bandstand near the war memorial has regular concerts which the council advertise on their website and there is a cafe open from breakfast until early evening.
