Open for lunch and dinner (usually closed Wednesday lunch) this is a typical cichetteria with many Venetian clients as well as tourists. Recently expanded, they serve a wide range of the typical Venetian "cichetti" (bite sized snacks composed of a slice of bread or polenta and one or more "toppings") from fish to meat to vegetarian, including bacalà in various forms running €1 a piece. They also have a selection of other plates (including a hearty Fiorentina T-bone steak served with potatoes) and a good number of wines available. They occasionally (often Thursday evenings) hold small concerts with local bands (usually free, often Jazz oriented) playing on the small boat docked just past the canal-side tables. When not used for concerts, local students and residents often use the boat for additional seating.
