The weather in Gaeta is relatively warm throughout most of the year.  Although it can be visited year round, the climate during certain months in Gaeta is more comfortable than during others.

            On average, the hottest months of the year are July and August, during which time the daily high temperatures will generally hover in the low to mid 90’s.  Temperatures reaching into the 100’s do occur, but they are not very common.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally drop to the mid 60’s.  The summer months in Gaeta are not only the warmest, but also the most crowded, as many people from around the country come to vacation in this seaside city.   

            The coldest months of the year on average are January and February, during which time the daily high temperatures will reach the low to mid 50’s.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally drop to the mid 30’s.  Nighttime temperatures will rarely fall to the freezing range. 

            On average, the months from October through January are the wettest of the year, while May through August are the driest.
