Tenerife is an island averaging approximately 800 square miles of space.  This island is generally divided in to two geographic areas, the north (Tenerife de Norte) and the south (Tenerife de Sur).  However, it is further divided in to 31 municipalities.   Visitors having a general idea of the location of each of these municipalities should be able to get wherever they would like to go on the island with relative easy.
