Ulenspeigel on Queerallee, (don't be put of by the street name) from 5-9pm prices are fantastic and service is exellent, inside the bar is a little "dark and dingy" but this creates a cosy atmosphere for winter nights and in the summer the beer garden is a good place to sit, drink cheap beer and enjoy the local car life (also serves standard food at reasonable prices).

Xallo, Hallo bars....very price orientated, amazing teig tasche (Calzone) with a great selection of fillings and cheap beer and cocktails, in the summer the outdoor eating area at the Xallo bar is a popular spot; the Hallo bar on Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse has a student style atmosphere, offers beers in pitchers at competative prices. and has a "Turkish/Moroccan" feel.
