Reims, the champagne capital of France. 

Take the train from Gare d'lest to Reims (1h 45mins).  Check out the Champagne House of G.H.Mumm and visit the caves where they store 25 million bottles of champagne under the street.   It is a wonderful experience and they provide tours in many different languages.  At the end of your visit you can have 1 to 3 tastings depending on your choice.  It is well worth it.  There are other Champagne Houses in the area, but G.H.Mumm is one of the best and it's an easy walk from the train station.
