This is a magnificent patisserie serving fresh breads,pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies and sandwiches. The sandwiches are excellent if you'd like to picnic in the nearby Luxembourg Gardens and various still and carbonated drinks are available to purchase with them. However, what makes this place legendary in it's neighborhood are the pastries. If you want your pick of them you must get here early (before noon) as they run out of things and do not replace them once they do. The shop closes around 5pm most days so you can't put off your visit til later.... There are stand up counters around the periphery of the shop but this is not an eat in place.

Gerard Mulot is located about a block south of Blvd St. Germain, a block east of Rue d'Odeon and just west of the back of St. Suplice. It can be reached by Metro at the Odeon, Mabilion and St. Germain de Pres stops.
