If you've been to Paris and have seen most of the usual sights, here's a suggestion for a fun afternoon. It may sound corny, but the horse & carriage ride was one of the highlights of the stay. You pick up the carriage by the Eiffel Tower and for an hour plus you ride mostly back streets of Paris ( while sipping champagne if you get the deluxe tour). The trips are genrally available between 1pm and 6pm but can get pretty booked up in advance.
There is only one professional horse and carriage team with 3 carriages.in Paris The newest carriage has just been introduced. It is the White Cinderella Carriage made in the USA. In the evening the small twinkle lights come on and in the event of rain it has a translucent cover.

You won't find the carriage except by chance, so to book you will have to contact Experience Paris
