Paris is well-known for the titles of 'City of light' and 'The World's Most Visited City. As obvious as it sounds, it is crowded and the queues can be long.

Tips: At the Eiffel Tower, go later in the evening when the lines are shorter. At night it glitters which is worth gazing at.

Visit the Musee du Louvre, Centre George Pompidou and Musee d'Orsay at the first Sunday of the month when it is free and the queues are moving.

Shopping

The Golden Triangle (formed by Ave des Champs-Elysees, Ave George V and Ave Montaigne) IS THE PLACE TO SHOP FOR Prada and similar . If the prices are too much head to stores like Gap or H&M (Ave des Champs-Elysees) for some better prices.

Another place to shop is around Blvd St-Germain where you will find stores like Zara and Rue St-Honore where you'll find stores like Zara and Adidas.

For departmental stores head to Blvd Haussmann where you'll find the main branch of Galaries Lafayette and Printemps.

Other Tips

Learn at least a little bit of French, you will be received much better with a few words of French.
