Throughout the year, visitors to Coventry have numerous opportunities to experience unique and entertaining festivals and events.

            The Coventry Jazz Festival takes place during a long weekend at the end of every May.  Many top Jazz performers from around the country as well as from around the world, gather during this event and showcase their talents.  There are many concerts throughout the festival that are held in various venues around the city, including the Cathedral Ruins and the Priory Place.  A hand full of workshops are also offered to inspiring jazz musicians.

            The Godiva Festival is a music festival that takes over the city for three days in the middle of July every year.  This free event is one of the largest music festivals in the area, and it draws many well known performers from around the country, and the world.  The music played on the numerous stages includes hip hop, rock, world music, and more.  

The Coventry Festival of Motoring takes place in early September and includes a cavalcade of cars that drive through the Warwickshire countryside to the Memorial Park.

 Throughout May and June is the Coventry International Festival of Literature.

 There are many other events that take place that are advertised in the local papers.
