Actually called 'Las Iguanas', this Latin American restaurant is the place to party, have a pre-theatre meal (the set menu runs from open until 6.30pm, is very reasonably priced and quickly served), or take the kids to sample tapas and non-alcholic coolers in a child friendly environment. The menu ranges from tapas, including the usual fair of nachos, gambas and spicy peri chicken, to grills of steak, fish and chicken, sizzling fajitas, rolled enchiladas and deep fried chimichangas. Vegetarians are well catered for with a range of options in mains and tapas. The more adventureous eaters can try dishes sourced from Brazil such as 'Xinxim', a creamy crayfish and peanut chicken dish or 'Moqueca', a light coconut curry. Fridays and Saturdays are loud and busy, so choose during the week for a intimate meal for no complaints. The music is latin, the food is latin and the drinks are very much latin (try a their speciality 'Caiprinha' made with 'cachaca' from their own plantation in Brazil- a few of these will put you in a carnival mood!).
