Brightons Artist Quarter is a collection of art studios located on Brighton beach between the two piers. The studios are located in a row of arches that were Victorian fisherman workshops, used for mending nets and storing equipment. They have been converted into interesting and sometimes quirky gallery spaces and the artists can be seen at work here throughout the year. In the summer months the art work spills out onto the strip of beach in front of the galleries, with work displayed on easels for the public to enjoy and purchase. Most of the artists here are well established and have a collection of work that has evolved over the years with art lovers coming back on a regular basis to see their latest work.
