           Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo, until recently a relatively laid-back, sleepy town north of Acapulco, is now becoming an increasingly popular spot for sun seekers and expats.  It is considered one of the prime spots in the world for deep sea sportfishing for such catches as sailfish, marlin, tuna and roosterfish. The beaches of the Costa Grande offer world-class surfing and bodyboarding, diving and snorkeling, water-skiing, both sea and lagoon water kayaking and a host of other activities.
