On the island, there are 2 Tourist Information Centers: one at the airport at arrivals and one downtown at Festival Place near the cruise ship dock. They offer free maps and brochures with all the information to help you with practical and non- practical matters like all the public beaches, communities, shopping centers, dining, lodging in Nassau and Paradise Island and much more.

Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board operates a website at www.nassauparadiseisland.com with tons of information to make your stay in the Bahamas pleasant. You will find suggestions for family travel, a wide variety of hotel offerings from grand resorts to intimate hideaways, information about auto rentals, consulates, cultural attractions, water sports, dining, shopping and much more. You can get a brochure in the mail just by e-mailing the Board from their site or download it from their website.

Other online information sites include The Ministry of Tourism for the Islands of The Bahamas at www.bahamas.com or call 1-800-Bahamas for brochures or booking your trip.
