Orange County overview

Much more than simply a base for trips to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, affluent Orange County has fabulous beaches, perfect for surfing and swimming, marvellous marinas for sailing, top-notch golf courses and a Mediterranean climate. Beach towns line the Pacific from Seal Beach to Newport Beach and Laguna Beach to San Clemente. Sights include Mission San Juan Capistrano and the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace. For those not behind the wheel, Metrolink and Amtrak trains link many points.
