The hotel is clean but relatively basic, although a fridge in the room is great. Tea/coffee making facilities would be better. View from room we had at back of complex was ok sea in distance .Staff all friendly - although some more than others. We stayed all inclusive but the food is not for the unadventurous as there is no signs to say what anything is and some of the weirder fish dishes may take you by suprise. Dont put your knife and fork down between bites as they will clear your plate from under your nose. No English people there when we stayed other than us so I think it is more geared for the European taste bud and eating style. No theme night as advertised, no gift shop and only a pool bar until 18.00 and then the hotel lobby bar until midnght. Satelitte TV only English speaking channel is CNN. NO soft drinks other than diluted orange between midnight anf 10am. Snacks available at bar between 10am & 18.00 dry biscuits, bread sticks and some extremely stale sandwiches in crusty bread. Coffee very weak and even 3 teabags wouldnt make a decent cup of tea.

Overall I would say the Santorini Image is a nice place, Santorini itself unless you want to spend uncessary money on boat trips for the sheer hell of it you could take one full day trip and see everything. Then you have the shops and the sunset. Shops are shops unless you are a shopaholic. The sunset is probably different at different times of the year.

Bus service relatively reliable and cheap but conductors loud and bossy and locals arrogant and aggressive.

We found the hotel to be clean and the family room spacious. The rooms in the main hotel are much better than the bungalows, no drain smell at all. Nice big pool. There is a mini bus to the beach and a good local bus service around the island. Most staff were friendly but the pool bar service lacked a smile. You were limited to what drinks you had, no imported drinks and only local wine from a glass bottle!!!
The only problem we occurred was in the restaurant where it was run like a school canteen. They wanted you to self serve but told you off for picking the wrong glasses for your water, or not doing up you top button on your overshirt at lunch too much time was spent by the Maitre'D picking holes in the clients than inspecting the food and waiting staff as expected. This really let down the hotel and I hope they change their staffs attitude sooner rather than later to encourage repeat clients. We would not return to the hotel because of this.

It's an old hotel, located 3 or maybe 4 kilometres from the nearest beach, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, the food is not so bad but soon we preferred to go out mainly because the environment is not so attractive, then because of the service....the waiters were just a few compared to the customers number.

The pool is quite big and if you need the pool towels you can go to the pool bar which opens at 11.00 am (!!!)
The deckchairs are 100% white plastic, no pad, unconfortable.

If you want to see a nice garden or a green lawn, forget it because here nobody water the plants.

The room was poorly furnished and poorly equipped.
The minibar was totally empty. No stationery.
In our room there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom due to the old drain system of the hotel (thanks god we worked it out by covering the hole).
The maid didn't clean enough the room too.
The furnitures were old and the environment wasn't pleasant at all, that's why we spent all the time outside (we rent a car)

NEVER AGAIN!

We stay in this hotel for 2 nights; totally nightmare! Staffs are rude! The smell in our room are real bad, had asked to change room. Me and my wife were so disappointed; so stay out most of our time!
