The resort staff went out of their way to ensure that we have a memorable experience. By the end of our vacation we felt like family, everyone treats you like royalty. The accomodation was excelent. We found the food to be delicious and different everyday, coffe, cappucino, snacks, cocktels everywhere. Thank you very much to all the resort staff.

I was with my wife, my brother-in-law and his wife from Jan 22 to Jan 30 2012. We all agree that this is one of the resorts that we recommend to our family. We travel all the time to many different resorts that are 4 or 5 stars. We found that this one was good enough to be 4 stars. The room was very clean, the entertainment was great and the restaurants were great and different everyday. All the people were very friendly.

The location was great because it is only 10 mins to the Santo Domingo airport and 20 mins from the historic Santo Domingo.

I recommend this to even our sons, and we normally don't recommend some of the other resorts we go to. 5 min walking distance to the beach too, open bar, restaurant and shops in a private section of the beach.

Iam currently sitting in the hotel on the computer writing this.
this is coming from someone who has traveled all over mexico and the world ive stayed in high end 5 stars and 3 stars in mexico.......
I paid just over $500 to come here. they dont tell you boca chica is just over a 3hr drive from punta cana airport. the hotel is ok! nothing great. we paid for a superior delux room. got here a day late as our flight was delayed and our room wasent ready wich sucked but whatever they knew we wanted a room right away so gave us one. it SUCKED! we were not impressed the bed had hair in it still as did bathroom it was like it was cleaned quick. the next day we were moved as we complained. now in a better room! if your coming here you want to be by the MAIN pool! as they are the nicest rooms. food is the [--] but its edible there is a long break between lunch(ending 230) and dinner (starting 7) snacks suck but its like a diet lol the deserts are damn good. the beach is about a 5 min walk thru a walkway thats actually nice and straight to the beach. our area is good! however once you leave resort area at the beach the locals are ok. lots of resurants use your smarts! always ask about prices. we didnt eat on beach yet. the locals are messy and leave stuff there. they dont bug you anymore than mexico i find there is less ppl trying to sell to you. the entertainment sucks. but if your with fun ppl it makes for a fun time. you can walk to boca chica town. and have drinks again use your smarts act like a dummy and no good. they see wrist bands and know your a tourist. jewlery they think you have money. iam canadian from vancouver and find there is alot of french. russian and german swiss dutch....... but few canadians. we met a few and stick together as the rest are not very social. overal dont expect alot for what you paid. theres an ocean a pool free food and booze. thats what you get.
