Upon Arrival at the Joia Hotel we were given a Standard Room instead of the Junior Suite that was booked and paid for months in advance. We had a number of other major problems during our stay.
Other Problems:
- No assistance with luggage on arrival or departure.
- Electronic room key did not work.
- No wireless network.
- Internet access required non-standard network configuration for which no instructions were available.
- Housekeeping service skipped one day.
- Maintenance personnel wandered through private patio unannounced.
Misleading Information
- No room service.
- No wireless internet.
- Bathtub or shower - not both.
I definitely would not consider this hotel a four star property. They lack the staff and facilities to adequately provide the services expected at such an establishment.
