Now called Eiz beach Konakli Turkey..Just got back June 2010. We have been to Turkey 7 times I must say this is the worst hotel we have stayed in, the hotel is classed as 3 star which in turkey is generally satisfactory.
We stayed in a family room on the first floor which was dirty, there was no tv, no mini bar,no phone & no safe on arrival in the room, we asked for a safe and the handyman came and siliconed the safe in the back of the wardrobe? then we found there was mice in the room which came from under the shower tray, the staff found this quite ammusing when I reported this, & sent the handyman 2 days later armed with his silicone again! we was offered a room change but the room offered had just been vacated and was still dirty as if they had only just left. beds slept in.
The food is short & runs out if your not there first no cuttelery or dishes, as does the drinks @ the bar which closes at 11, one night the guy @ the bar put his watch forward 10 mins to 11.00 when there was a que.Drinks are warm & of cheap brands. (The guy in the paper shop up the rd will order you food from his brothers takeout) Entertainment none existant, beach is a walk & not next to hotel, toilets & shower @ the beach are filthy. pool @ hotel is small & crammed, people leaving towels on loungers all night. full of German & Russian people.
I could go on, if you have already booked this hotel I hope its change for your sake! If you havent then DONT!
