We booked this B & B as we had a wedding to attend on the hinterland and was close to the wedding reception. We went for a drive around before, and found this fabulous B & B through word of mouth. I wrote down all the B&B's we had seen including motels and googled them all. The Tearmon came up trumps for everything. My first contact was with Mary Anne by phone who I contacted to make the booking for the three nights which we needed. I can only speak highly, from first contact to arrival. We chose to book the unit style accommodation and it far surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail on everything in the unit was superb. A full kitchen, dining, lounge area with large screen television and dvd with a range of dvd's included. Maps of walking trails including binoculars, books magazines, a nice range of teas and coffee was provided. More than any self contained unit we have stayed in yet and that is many. A continental breakfast was included and was more than adequate. The surrounds was a wonderful garden looking down to some dams/small lakes which were very tranquil. The unit had a large seperate bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed and ample storage and chairs in the room. The bathroom even included a washing machine, ironing board and iron, the list went on. Anything you could possibly want was in the unit and nothing was overlooked or too much trouble. The entry was a nice little outdoor covered sitting area with own barbecue, and our car was comfortably housed in a garage.
Our friends who also were attending the wedding stayed in the B& B room next door which was equally as wonderful though on a smaller bases. They had exceptional views of the lakes and bushland also, with a seperate bedroom , bathroom from the well equipped lounge, eating area. I can highly recommend this B&B, the only sounds you hear at night are the birds, frogs and crickets etc and you feel like you have stepped back to the peace and serenity with every amentity you could possibly want with attention to detail and very clean.
