“IT COULD BE BETTER”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

The hotel looks indeed new, clean with large rooms, modern furnitured . It is a pity that it is lodged right along the highway and has a very little green garden at both the entrance and around the hotel (in fact green area almost does not exist ).
Room cleanliness: during the 7 days of staying our room JUST was just once cleaned and for changing the towels we had to ask the maid .We think there is an explanation that there are not enough maids. (not mentioning that they do not know foreign languages).
By the way, excepting the reception people ,most of the personnel knew turkish language only..
The swimming pools were very clean, the beach is a bit narrow but with some 150 M. length. There are enough sunbeds everywere for everybody.
The kitchen (including the restaurant, the bars ,etc. ),monotonously but with fresh foods. Quite a very few variety of fresh fruits as well .
As a conclusion ,since we are not some fastidious persons, we can say that we felt quite well and we enjoyed our staying in this resort, although our expectations were much more for a 5 stars hotel with UAL.

“Only english people but otherwise ok”

Hotel is clean and modern. However a very very bad point is the lack of air conditioning and whislt having to travel in the lifts due to having young children this was horrendous part of our holiday. The air conditioning in the room was rubbish and it turned off every hour!! What was that about. We even had to call an engineer at midnight one night to clean the filters as wasnt blowing out cold air but this only was a mild improvement. We were the only english people in the hotel and the hotel staff I would say do not cater for the english so certainly was always last to be served and didnt feel special - more of a hinderance. And the children animators were def not interested in our children whilst in the kiddy club. All we did everyday was just go to the pool and the beach and didnt expect much more than this - which the kids did love. Apparently we were the 2nd english family to have ever been there!! All in all was ok but if you are after more english people then I wouldnt go here.

Room Tip: We originally wanted a sea view room as we were looking out at the main road but the disco blares mu...

“Worst service i've ever saw!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

Me and my husband were in this hotel at the end of August 2011. The hotel is nice, clear and that’s all!!! Its definitely not a five star hotel level... You can see it from the first steps to the hotel! Lets start with a reception, which is operated only with 2 people and they almost don’t speak neither russian, neither english! The man on the reception was very RUDE (coz normally he’s too busy with all the coming guests), but when we coming to vacation we shouldn’t care about his problems, anyway receptionist should be nice, careful and gentle with guests, coz its the face of the hotel. (So from the beginning we were so disappointed). The first room which they are giving is normally very bad, so for extra paying you can get a room better (30$ we paid for a sea view standard room and our friends from Moscow were paid 50$ for the room like this). Thanks God the room was very nice, clean and stylish, and we have enjoyed it very much. Food and drinks was not bad also. Concerning the beach, its really small, but we were informed about it from the beginning at the site of the hotel and our operator told us, so it was not surprise for us. Coz most of the time we spent near the pool, which was not bad, BUT the animator team was the WORST I’ve ever saw in my life! For 7 days we were so tired of the same activities every day and the same music, which was driving just crazy. It was seemed like on the planet just 10 songs and nothing else. Horrible! At first night chief of animator İlyas was probably drunk after the night club and caused us some problems, screaming that he’s a son of the owner of the hotel !!! and that we will leave the hotel if he wants, then in a 5 min he probably realized who he is and where he is and that he’s speaking not with friends but with guests, so he was saying sorry next 5 min.
In common our trip was not soo bad, but only coz we were optimistic and wanted just to stay relax and cool, so we were not noticing that there s no air-conditioned common spaces in the whole hotel, no air-conditioned lifts, so we were sweating all the time, that in the main restaurant waiters was also mainly not nice.
And the last but the main! For last few days of our trip there was some turkish holiday (i don’t know which one), so a lot of turkish people comes to the hotel and one night we were sleeping when our Moscow friends (also a couple) knocked at the room asking for help!!! One drunk turkish young lady threw the glass in the back of the head of the Moscow girl coz she was jealous or something. And what??? Security of the hotel didn’t do NOTHING, no police although we stayed at the lobby and were insisting on their coming. They only called the doctor and our friends were staying at the hospital till 7 in the morning. Next day, wine and fruits (in UAI hotel :))) were sent to the room of our friends and thats all! So thats how the management of the hotel solving such a problems. But its really dangerous to stay in such kind management hotels where turkish people feels like at home and tourist, especially russian have no rights at all!
So our recommendation – NEVER SPEND MONEY ON THIS HOTEL (at least untill they manage their service, which is just terrible).

“Once and never more”

We were in this hotel end of August 2011. We looked a family friendly hotel with acitvities for children and from FTi we become this hotel. The hotel is nice, clear and thats all. For more then 1000 people you will find only one receptionist. After you check-in and get to your room you will be surprised that you have no towel card. You have to go back to the reception and get 10EUR as a deposit for every towel card (why they can tell it to you before i dont know). Extremely bad are animators for children. Last visit in Turkey was like animation during the whole day only for children, you can let children for two hours with animators. Here it was 15 minute pro day and 25 minutes in the evening. For example painting on tshirts (usualy done by animation circle) must be paid for 15 USD and you have to be there and look up for your child not to spent so much of the colours. Ice cream was only during 1 hour pro day, served from one person- you have to wait. The same with icecoffee and sweets. Also if you travel with buggy you will be not able to ride all over the whirlpool, you will need to move the chairs or you will need a help to carry it. Also with the entry to the sea. You must let the buggy on the steps and then go to the beach. There is no garden, no green area. Voleyball and tenis court are only on the roof of the hotel there is no natural surface (beachvolejbal is not posible). Food was good, but we were ther for 11 days and it was the same for fast every day. During the whole day and night there was unbeliavable noisy entertainment - animators are using rusian and to know every day what does serjoza from Rusia last couple of minutes is terrible. Rusians are every where, all type of them, you can see them tasting the meal just on the raut tables, you can find them when they are running throw the row to be first. Its normal to find them totaly drung during the day and they were normally knocking on the doors during the nights. The main hotel manager must by deaf. We were at the end of our holiday frustrated, the hotel has everything to be better and to get a better service, but probably they dont need it. For next holiday if we will choose Turkey we will choose another place and hotel (for example Joy Pegasus in Side).
This hotel is totaly dedicated not for family with children but for Rusian 17 years lady who wants to have a romancy with hotel animator!!!!!!!! Or if you love to be pursuing by the rusian tourists from Rusia, Armenia, Azerbadjan, Kazachstan and other rusian speaking countries you will love it. I hope that the bad service from the people on the reception and from others could be because of the behaviour of this Rusian turist. Next time we wil choose a hotel with only europa turists companies (Rusia is nto in Europe, at least because of the behaviour of their tourists).

Room Tip: With seaview room be prepare to an unbeliavable noisy entertainment, with no seaview room be prepare...

“Wonderful weather, nice hotel, millions of Russians.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

The hotel still looks brand new, the rooms are spacious, and the sea view from my balcony on the 7th floor was spectacular, so even though I had to use the 'staff only' door and staricase to get there, because lifts only go up to the 6th floor - no complaints about that. The food served is, well, quite peculiar, but that's part of the charm I guess. Generally, there was so much to choose from, everyone managed to find something they liked. Animations are a horror for me no matter where I go and these were no different, but at least you could safely leave the kids with one of the girl-animators for some time and enjoy the sun. May be hard to find a couple of free sunbeds next to each other after 11 am. Around 70% of the people were Russian and Eastern European, the rest German and Dutch. Vast majority of the Russians were drunk from 11 am on, and really quite amusing. The things I absolutely hated was the air con in my room turning itself off after one hour, and no air con at all in the lifts. The hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but as it's a resort not many people leave it at all. At nighttime it can get bornig, but there's a city disco or something like that not far away, as I could see and hear it from my balcony perfectly well.

Room Tip: Booked a land view, but 20 euros in a passport during check-in got me a nicer view than my sister go...
