just got back from the stella maris santa pola on the 18th april and would like to share my views on the hotel.The hotel is off the beaten tourist track so it is ideal if you wan to see the real spain and not the touristy one.The only real problem i encountered was the bi -lingual hotel staff only spoke spanish as it was really only set up for retired spanish people and not any other type of traveller.The food was almost entirely spanish as was the entertainment and everything closed down at midnight so i would recommend this hotel if you are tired of the benidorm scene and want something very authentic then you would probably enjoy this
