“Warm, cosy and peaceful”

We were put up in this hotel as part of a ski weekend package.

This hotel was exactly what I imagined (and hoped for!) - in typical Austrian ski lodge style, smooth wood panelling, cosy rugs, even a receptionist in a dirndl! It was scrumptiously warm, deadly quiet at night (bliss), comfortable beds, you can take the bus easily into Innsbruck and staff were so friendly and helpful. Also a real treat was the sauna after a long day's skiing. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and hearty - if pork-heavy! The only thing missing for us was fruit at the breakfast - even canned fruit would have been all right. All that meat and cheese can play havoc with your digestion!

I would love to go back again, winter or summer.
