I booked this B&B through the Nova Scotia Tourist Board website and what a find this turned out to be.
The house itself is a period property that has been lovingly restored and furnished in a manner that retains the character of the house.
The bedrooms are luxuriously equipped with four poster beds and period furniture, quality bedding and air conditioning.
The en-suite bathroom has a rolltop bath and a seperate shower and the standard of cleanliness is beyond reproach.
The breakfast is served in the formal dining room and the quality and quantity far exceeds the price that you pay. It really is superb value for money.
The B&B has received 41/2 stars fro Canadaselect, the national accomodation agency and it is well deserved.
Nova Scotia is renowned for the standard of the hospitality that is offered and in this B&B I can understand why.
This was the last stop that I made on a five city tour of easten Canada and my only regret is that I did not arrive there sooner and stay longer.
If I return to Nova Scotai again, as I fully intend to do, this B&B will most certainly feature on my itinerary.
