“Great”

Great hotel, great location! People are very nice and very helpfull. Its in the middle of everything. (shops, restaurants etc)
Breakfast is small but nice. Nothing fancy but still tasty.
And for lunch and dinner just go either to the restaurant across from the hotel or more into town. lots to choose from.

The only thing they shoud do is put in (ceiling) fans or airconditioning. And maybe think about a (real) door for the shower area.
Otherwise its a great place to stay either for business or just relaxing.

“Small but comfortable”

Very friendly staff, well appointed rooms. Only down side was the restaurant no imagination put into it

Room Tip: Not advisable to go at the weekend due to nightclub close by

“We will be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

A really good hotel with warm friendly staff who did everything to make our stay excellant. The room was ideal, ensuite, t.v. and wi-fi. It even had a desk so I could leave laptop out. Clean towels everyday, sheets I think, every other day the room was kept perfect. Breakfasts where good value for money, eat as much or as little as you wanted with the option of having it in your room.
Being in the centre of town, it was still peaceful and handy for our needs, parking was at a premium.

“Average Budget Accommodation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 June 2011

I arranged an early check-in and was given a room that was occupied (but not listed as occupied???) I opened the door much to my embarrassment and that of the couple in the room. I was given another room. It was small with a sunken bedroom area just the right height to trip over in the middle of the night. The rooms are not air-conditioned and it was a warm night. I was told that I could open the rear door or window but they shared a common balcony with another 5 rooms. The next night I was moved after complaining to a room where I could open the window and get fresh air, unfortunately it was above a street that was noisey of a night and especially in the early mornings after the discos closed. I asked to get some washing done as suggested in the information folder. I was told they didn't do it. I pointed out that it was written in the folder No-one on duty knew how to go about it and they said they will have to ring their Manager.

The bet was comfortable and the breakfast was satisfactory it was European style,
The staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The rates were applicable for the hotel.

The enjoyment of the stay was let down by the size and design/layout of the rooms, lack of air-conditioning, no restaurant facilities apart from the breakfast room and no bar toi relax in. No Iron was provided in the room and there was no refrigerator.
I would not recommend this hotel for the discerning Business traveller unless you have a very limited budget

“fun but peaceful”

The Hotel Finn is definitely quirky. Very much modern contemporary (rubber flooring, some Kermit-the-frog-green highlights in the rooms), but it is very comfortable. The rooms are efficiently appointed, lighting could be improved upon - as I have found in most hotels in Holland- they offer comfortable beds, desk, safe, coffee/tea making facilities ( Nespresso machine and kettle) TV with international channels. There is a vending and ice machine on the corridor, with a choice of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as snacks.
The breakfast room is a bit on the depressing side, a steak restaurant which is no longer in use, and the breakfast is very basic - I would recommend to head out instead, for the price you can find a nice coffee bar close by to start you for the day.
The hotel is quietly located, yet around the main square in Almere, and a quick 5 minute walk from the train station.
